Did you know you can tell the difference between a male frog and a female by looking at their ears? What ears, you say? A frog’s ear is called a “tympanum” and it is located just behind the eye. If it is larger than the frog’s eye, it’s a boy and if its smaller, it’s a girl. Male frogs cannot use the excuse they didn’t hear their mate. Ribbet!
The Frog tile is 4” x 4” and made from white stoneware and glazed with a lead-free, very durable glaze in a variety of color options. It features a hand carved subject in bas-relief. The colors you see are the actual glazes but may appear slightly different due to the type of monitor you may be viewing the product on. Because of the handmade nature of the tiles, slight variances in color, finish and size will occur and this gives every handmade tile its unique character. Completely made in the USA.
